Bay Road Animal Hospital has proudly served the Sarasota community for more than 30 years. Our owner, Dr. David J. Smith, joined the practice in 1974 and purchased it from his business partner, Dr. William Greene, in 1980.

Dr. Smith helped establish Bay Road Animal Hospital as one of the first AAHA-accredited veterinary hospitals in the Sarasota area and played a key role in opening our second location in East Sarasota. Throughout the years, our commitment to providing outstanding veterinary care has remained unchanged.
